Conductive Labs is a small electronic musical instrument company founded in 2017 in the Portland, Oregon area by Steve Barile and Darryl, who took early retirement from Intel to pursue their passion for synthesizers in a self-financed venture. Their first products, funded through Kickstarter, were the NDLR—a hybrid sequencer and arpeggiator that controls multiple synthesizers while maintaining key and mode—and the MRCC, a standalone MIDI router control center. The company has since developed the Terrain Synth, introducing an innovative terrain synthesis method that navigates 3D landscapes for unique sound generation.
