KOMA Elektronik was founded in 2010 by a crew of artists, engineers, and synth enthusiasts who began by building boutique effect pedals before expanding into gestural musical control, complex sequencing, quadraphonic mixing, and electro-acoustic instruments. Based in Berlin, the company designs and hand-assembles music electronics that encourage experimentation and new forms of musical expression, including flagship products like the Chromaplane electromagnetic instrument and Field Kit electro-acoustic workstation.
