Malekko Heavy Industry

Malekko Heavy Industry is a specialty manufacturer of modular synthesizer equipment and guitar effects pedals based in Portland, Oregon. The company produces Eurorack format modules, many of which are licensed designs from Wiard. In 2015, Malekko was commissioned to develop a new modular line for Roland, marking Roland's first foray into modular synthesis since the 1970s; this line entered production as the Roland System 500 in 2018.
