Motas Electronics was founded by Dr Jon Hayes, a UK-based synthesizer designer who began developing electronic instruments in the early 1990s. The company was incorporated in 2017 and represents Hayes's first commercial venture, bringing his decades of synthesizer development to market. The Motas-6, their flagship product, is a hybrid analogue-digital monosynth that combines analogue sound generation with digital control and modulation capabilities, featuring 37 dedicated LFOs and envelopes alongside an ARM Cortex-M4 processor.
