Plinky

Plinky is an 8-voice polyphonic touch synthesizer designed by mmalex, specializing in fragile, melancholic sounds through its expressive pressure-sensitive playing surface. It functions as a 24HP Eurorack module or standalone desktop synth with CV and MIDI connectivity, featuring oscillators, granular sampler, sequencer, arpeggiator, and effects like delay and reverb. The project is fully open source, available as DIY kits or assembled units through select retailers, with variants including the enlarged Plinky+ offering expanded play surface and premium enclosure.
