Quasimidi Musikelektronik GmbH was founded in 1987 in Kirchhain, Germany, by Friedhelm Haar and Jörg Reichstein. The company, based in Hesse, initially produced MIDI master keyboards and later developed innovative synthesizers like the Styledrive for storing and replaying MIDI sequences. It relocated to Rauschenberg in 1998 and ceased operations in 2000, with its final product being the PolyMorph, successor to the Rave-O-Lution.
