RYK Modular is an East London-based company formed in 2009 with the release of its first module, the M185 sequencer in the Roland System 100m format. The M185 design was licensed to Intellijel, inspiring their Metropolis and Metropolix sequencers, and RYK later developed an updated Eurorack version with advanced features. The company has expanded its lineup to include innovative modules such as the Vector Wave, a compact FM/vector stereo polyphonic synth voice; ALGO, a 4-op FM complex oscillator; the Envy Machine, a quad modulation source; Time Slice, a quad audio looper; and Night Rider, a quad sequential resonator.
