Soundmachines emerged as the brainchild of Davide, a part electronic developer and part musician who serves as chief innovation officer at the Italian company SPES, active for over 15 years in research and development of electronic platforms. Proposed as a new venture to his partners and embraced with enthusiasm, it launched with a dense product roadmap featuring Eurorack modules, performance devices, and full synthesizers, beginning sales in late 2013 with around 15 modules in development. The team includes specialists in project management, firmware, software architecture, hardware design, and production, all based in Italy. Flagship products like the MODULÖR114, an all-in-one Eurorack analog modular synthesizer, and innovative interfaces such as the BI1 brainwave-to-synthesizer module highlight its focus on blending analog synthesis with unique control methods.
