Tama

Tama began as Star Drums in 1966 before changing its name to Tama in 1974. A brand of the Japanese company Hoshino Gakki, it became renowned for high-quality drum kits and hardware. In the 1980s, Tama ventured into electronic percussion with the Techstar series of analog drum synthesizers and modules, produced from 1984 to 1986.
