Welson was an Italian manufacturer based in Castelfidardo, Marche, in the heart of the region's musical instrument industry alongside brands like Farfisa and Crumar. The company produced the Welson Syntex, a monophonic analog synthesizer released in 1975 featuring digitally controlled oscillators for stable tuning, a transistor ladder filter, ADSR envelope, and extensive hands-on controls including sliders for footages and pots for vibrato and tuning.
