WERSI was founded in 1969 by brothers Wilhelm-Erich and Reinhard Franz from Werlau near St. Goar in the Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis, with the company name derived from Werlau and Simmern. Originally known as a German manufacturer of electronic organs sold affordably as kits for bands and hobbyists, WERSI pioneered PC technology in organs and evolved into a leader in premium keyboards and organs featuring models like the Galaxy, Atlantis SN3, LOUVRE, and PERGAMON OAX1000. Following the 2010 takeover by MUSIC STORE professional GmbH, the company continues to produce high-quality instruments made in Germany with advanced software-based systems.
