Cain Synthesizers units are donation-supported oscillators and effects for the Korg prologue, also built for the NTS-1 and minilogue xd. CAIN CZ and the more advanced CAIN CZ2 generate phase-distortion waveforms; CZ2 runs two lines that can be detuned, set to fixed intervals or ring-modulated, with a large set of wave combinations, envelope and tempo-synced loop modulation, and key tracking of the distortion amount. KRYSTAL models an object shattering, with up to six crystals per voice, a shape knob that moves through the timeline of the crash, and settings for envelope depth, attack, pitch sets, a high-pass filter and decay. CAIN++ is a Karplus-Strong plucked-string oscillator whose exciter can blend noise with a wavetable waveform, plus an optional continuous exciter. HUMAN imitates solo and choir voices by passing a glottal pulse through formant filters, with vowel-transition sequences, character, colour, attack and portamento settings. WTF is an oscillator that has to be repaired, by removing ground hum, cleaning contacts and swapping a capacitor, before it sounds stable, and WTF II produces scary, alien babbling voices. The effects include the 3DC and Cain D chorus units and the Cain LEZ rotary-speaker effect.

eurorack-prologue
unitgithub.com
eurorack-prologue is a free set of user oscillators for the Korg prologue, also built for the minilogue xd and NTS-1, with its source code published. Its macro-oscillator models cover a pair of classic waveforms, a waveshaper, two-operator FM, a granular formant oscillator, a harmonic oscillator, an inharmonic string model and a set of wavetable oscillators that scan rows and columns of additive, formant-like, vocal and metallic tables. A separate modal resonator oscillator is a physical model in which a struck mallet excites a resonating structure. For each model, shape and shift-shape control its two main timbre parameters, while the multi-engine menu adds a model-specific parameter, a mix between the main and auxiliary outputs, the shape LFO target and a built-in key-synced cosine LFO with its own rate, depth and destination. The modal resonator puts resonator position and geometry on the knobs, with strike strength, mallet type, timbre, damping and brightness in the menu. A new program starts every parameter at its minimum, so many models need their first parameter set to the middle, and the modal resonator stays silent until strength and damping are raised; to fit the multi-engine's memory and processing limits it uses only the strike exciter and a reduced filter bank.
Junologue Chorus
effectsgithub.com
Junologue Chorus is a free, open-source chorus effect for the Korg prologue, also built for the minilogue xd and NTS-1, that emulates the chorus of the Juno-60. It runs in the mod effect slot. The Speed knob selects the mode, I, II or a combined I-II setting, and turning it further within each mode brightens the timbre. The Depth knob sets the dry/wet balance, with the classic sound around the middle. The combined mode runs both choruses in parallel rather than reproducing the original's mono vibrato setting.
korg-prologue (len)
oscillatorgithub.com
korg-prologue by len is a set of user oscillators and modulation effects made specifically for the Korg prologue, with prebuilt unit files alongside the source. Pluck is a Karplus-Strong plucked-string oscillator: shape sets the damping in the feedback loop, from loose, long-sustaining strings to short plucks, shift-shape softens the noise burst that excites the string, and menu parameters add attenuation and drive. Organ is an additive drawbar organ with five sine drawbars in the oscillator menu, modeled on a classic combo organ's upper manual, with shape for a detuning effect and shift-shape for overdrive. The modulation effects use the prologue's two-timbre layout. Split pans the main and sub timbres independently so they can be processed separately outside the synth, while Sub AM and Sub Ringmod use the sub timbre to amplitude- or ring-modulate the main timbre, with speed scaling the modulator and depth setting the wet mix. Tremolo and Autopan add volume and stereo modulation between 1 and 10 Hz.
logue-vosim
oscillatorgithub.com
logue-vosim is an open-source VOSIM oscillator for the Korg prologue, with builds for the minilogue xd and NTS-1 as well. VOSIM synthesis builds each pitch period from a short train of pulses that decay in amplitude, followed by a gap, giving vowel-like, formant-rich tones suited to speech-like and nasal sounds. Shape sets the delay between pulse trains and shift-shape their attenuation, which can also be pushed negative; menu parameters set the pulse frequency, the number of pulses per period and whether the shape LFO modulates delay or attenuation.
boochow instruments units
unitblog.boochow.com
boochow instruments units are custom oscillators and effects for the Korg prologue, built with the logue SDK and also offered for the minilogue xd and NTS-1. Lily is a macro oscillator with more than 40 synthesis models and an LFO delay. Pulsaw recreates a Juno-style DCO with synchronized pulse and sawtooth waves, a sub-oscillator, white noise, a built-in high-pass filter and a delayed LFO with Roland- or Korg-style behaviour, and Alpha One recreates an Alpha Juno-style DCO and its high-pass filter, with a separate chorus mod effect. A pack of oscillators written in Pure Data adds layered-sine additive tones, sine wavefolding, chiptune saw, square and triangle waves with a band-limited variant, a sine-based kick drum and a simple plucked string. On Pulsaw, shape sets the pulse width and shift-shape the sub-oscillator level, with menu parameters for waveform, noise level, high-pass cutoff, LFO delay and LFO style. The Freeverb unit adds a classic algorithmic reverb in the reverb slot; on the prologue it needs the mod effect turned off because of its processing load.
DirtBoxSynth logue units
unitdirtboxsynth.com
DirtBoxSynth logue units are a catalog of commercial oscillators and effects for the Korg prologue, many also offered for the minilogue xd and NTS-1. The oscillators include Morph, a morphing wavetable pack with envelope modulation, and PWG, a parametric waveform generator that extends pulse-width modulation with extra modulation options, waveshaping and its own envelope, alongside further oscillators such as FMonsta, ORGANism and SUPAwave, sold singly or in collection bundles. The effects include filter packs, the AMPit amplitude effect, a basic autopanner and an exotic delay pack, and the whole range is also sold as one bundle.
Edouard Digital units (Blinds, JP-Booo)
unitedouard.digital
Edouard Digital makes two user oscillators for the Korg prologue, both also available for the minilogue xd and NTS-1. BLINDS is a waveshaping macro-oscillator built around the idea of pulse-width modulation for any waveform: eight modes (blinds, warp, rectify, fold, invert, mirror, mix and phase, and soft clip) reshape a front wave, and in some modes a back wave, chosen from a library of about a hundred waveforms. JP-BOOO is a supersaw oscillator that stacks seven detuned sawtooth waves with nonlinear detune and mix curves, randomized starting phases and a dynamic high-pass filter that recreates the bright, aliased character of the classic hardware sound. On BLINDS, the shape knob sets the strength or position of the reshaping and can be animated by the synth's LFO and by a built-in sine LFO whose rate reaches audio range; menu parameters choose the mode, front and back waves, back-wave inversion and one or two shaping points, and the prologue's oscilloscope shows the result. On JP-BOOO, shape sets the detune and shift-shape the level of the outer saws. Preset packs for the prologue are available for both, and both need current prologue system and voice firmware.
Ghost Time custom oscillators
oscillatorghosttime.itch.io
Ghost Time custom oscillators are a free, pay-what-you-want set of experimental oscillators and effects for the Korg prologue. Warped is a lo-fi oscillator with sine, triangle and square shapes, a per-voice amplitude LFO, added noise, pitch flutter, random wow with adjustable slew and rate, and random phase drop-outs. Clang stacks three detunable sines for bells and metallic tones, with optional random tuning, a decay envelope and rattling retriggers. Sneq turns each held key into a random rhythmic pattern with adjustable length, offsets, octave jumps and silence probability, and can sync to tempo through a BPM-synced LFO; Step is a per-key arpeggiator with interval, range, scale, direction and hold-probability settings; and Lapse multiplies three LFOs on each voice's volume to create shifting polyrhythms and drones. Two effects round out the set: Waver, a mod effect that adds unstable, warbling pitch using one to three LFOs, and Slinky, a modulated multi-tap delay that ranges from phaser- and chorus-like sounds at short times to conventional echoes, with shift plus depth setting its LFO rate.
Hammond Eggs logue plugins
oscillatorhammondeggsmusic.ca
Hammond Eggs logue plugins are a large collection of oscillators, effects and tools for the Korg prologue and minilogue xd, with many units also usable on the NTS-1. Oscillators include Percy, a percussive house-organ sample player with portamento on shape and overdrive on shift-shape; Souper, a supersaw with multi-triangle and multi-PWM variants; Duet, a dual saw or saw-plus-PWM oscillator with two LFOs; Divide, a 12-note top-octave divider oscillator; 1973, a miniKORG 700-style monosynth oscillator; Shapes, a variable-shape oscillator; and Chips, a chiptune-style oscillator with arpeggios and drum sounds. The effects cover deep reverbs with high- or low-pass filtering (Cathedral, Theatre, Haze and Mist, plus the self-modulating breathe and sniff), bucket-brigade-style chorus and delay (Hera and Buckets), a vintage variable-rate echo (Grit), distortion with cabinet simulation (Cabernet), a wah and amplitude gate, a random filter LFO, a vocal formant filter delay (Arrhh), and loopers (pseudo and while(1)). The stereo Hera chorus can process the prologue's main and sub timbres separately, and the reverbs come in prologue-specific builds. Wave Creator, a Windows tool, loads samples into the synth, and VECTOR is an experimental vector-graphics game.
Roll-log Sounds units
oscillatorrolllogsounds.com
Roll-log Sounds makes oscillators, effects and companion tools for the Korg prologue and minilogue xd, many also built for the NTS-1. A free pack includes Scan, a wavetable oscillator that morphs between single-cycle waves from several banks with unison and modulation modes, a Shepard-tone oscillator, and effects such as Smoke, a random grain delay and freeze, LogLooper, a looper that can carry loops across patches, and LogReverse, a reverse delay with manual rewind. Paid oscillators include Syng, a formant-resonance oscillator, Fume, a two-operator FM oscillator with digital carrier waveforms, polySquares, an additive DCO, and a pack with 2D wavetable, portamento-and-unison saw, feedback FM, fractional FM and paraphonic saw oscillators. The oscillators share one layout: shape is the main morphing control, shift-shape sets unison detune and whether phases reset on each note, and the first menu parameter picks a modulation mode that reassigns the remaining parameters. The logueMill editor builds user-configurable effects such as the Del-8 8-bit modulated delay and the MVF-22 morphing filter, and wavDesk loads custom wavetables into the synth.
BEAST (Platinum Audiolab)
oscillatorplatinumaudiolab.com
BEAST is a commercial user oscillator by Platinum Audiolab for the Korg prologue, also available for the minilogue xd and NTS-1. It adds a vintage analog-style oscillator layer with waveshapes modeled on classic 1970s analog synths: the shape knob sweeps continuously through noise, sine, triangle, sharktooth, saw, ramp, stairstep, square and pulse, including the in-between shapes. A phase-aligned sub-oscillator reinforces the fundamental, and the oscillator is voiced to drive the analog mixer and filter hard. Shift-shape tunes it across two octaves, like the standard VCOs. Menu parameters add a saturator that can also act as an exciter, semi-random pitch warble, phase warble for internal detune, direct phase control between the main and sub oscillators, and a virtual LFO that can work alongside the hardware LFO for PWM-style movement. Presets are included.
Sound Mangling user oscillators
oscillatorsoundmangling.com
Sound Mangling user oscillators are a range of commercial oscillators by Tim Shoebridge for the Korg prologue, minilogue xd and original NTS-1. PLUCK recreates plucked-string resonance with a tuneable feedback loop, STRING layers seven detunable saw and square oscillators across four octave ranges for vintage string-machine sounds, FOLD emulates analog wavefolding, VECTOR SYNTHESIS blends digital waveforms in the manner of classic vector synths, DIGITAL WAVEFORM targets the sound of a mid-1980s hybrid polysynth, and BEATS provides drum sounds such as kicks, snares and hi-hats. ONE morphs between sawtooth, triangle and ramp shapes; TWO combines two base waveforms, phase-modulating the second with the shape control; THREE uses three waveform generators and envelopes for arpeggios, chords, echoes and detuned thickness; OCTAVE plays note patterns in random order; CHORD steps through sets of chord changes; and DRONE plays up to four notes paraphonically with wavefolding and repeatable random overtones, although its maker treats the prologue version as experimental. Many come with presets, some for the minilogue xd only, and none run on the drumlogue or NTS-1 mkII.
tsoniq logue oscillators
oscillatortsoniq.com
tsoniq makes a family of user oscillators for the Korg prologue, most also available for the minilogue xd and some for the NTS-1. viper is a pack of four oscillators that rebuild the waveforms and wavetables of four classic 1980s hybrid synthesizers in real time with additive synthesis, offering dual oscillators, alias-free output, simulated multi-sampling across the keyboard, a pitch envelope for auto-bend effects, noise, and wavetable sweeps from the filter envelope and shape LFO. ds80 applies the same approach to the digital waveforms of a vintage modular VCDO, including its variable-sample-rate artefacts and analog-style tuning drift, and unity offers many waveform generator models, from morphing analog shapes and pulse-based string sounds to ring and frequency modulation, with stacks of detunable parallel oscillators per voice. fusion and phase7 are built around the prologue's front panel. fusion is a complete virtual-analog oscillator whose two digital oscillators mirror the panel's VCO and filter controls and add a 24 dB per octave multimode filter, with the VCO mixer crossfading between analog and digital. phase7 is a supersaw oscillator with seven free-running generators per oscillator that follows the panel's VCO waveform, shape and detune settings. Both come in free lite and paid pro versions and need current synth firmware for front-panel control.
PlaitsXplorer and ElementsXplorer
plaitsgithub.com
PlaitsXplorer and ElementsXplorer are user oscillators made only for the Korg prologue. PlaitsXplorer is a multi-model digital oscillator covering virtual analog with and without hard sync, two wavefolders, one- and two-operator FM with feedback, granular formant and saw-swarm textures, particle and filtered noise, additive harmonics, resonant filter models, and analog-style and synthetic kick, snare and hi-hat sounds. ElementsXplorer is a modal physical-modelling voice in which a mallet excites a resonating structure, with velocity shaping the mallet hits, dribbles and rolls. Both map their controls onto the prologue's front panel, reusing the VCO section's knobs so the digital engine can be shaped with little menu diving. A modulation matrix combines the filter and amp envelopes, built-in envelopes and extra LFOs with multi-rate and quad-phase modes, key tracking and note velocity, and the panel mapping also opens the engine to the expression pedal, mod wheel, aftertouch and MIDI CC control, with every setting saved in the prologue's programs.
