Mark is a five-track live looper for the Ableton Move, built as a full-surface module for the Schwung community framework, which must be installed on the Move. Each stereo track cycles through record, play and overdub with its own stop and clear, level, pan, reverse and one-shot playback, recording from whichever input the Move has selected: the built-in microphone, line-in or USB-C. The first loop, or the Move's MIDI clock when it is sent out, sets the grid, and later loops snap to whole measures or to finer quantize settings for loops that drift against the beat, while the Move's own tracks keep playing underneath. The pad grid is the control surface, with track pads colored by state, all start and stop, single-level undo and redo, overdub or replace modes, and a single mode that turns the five tracks into exclusive song sections. Each track has one insert effect: low-pass, high-pass, crusher, tempo-synced delay, phaser, ring modulator or any installed chainable Schwung audio effect. Sixteen session slots store loop audio and settings on the Move, a browser mixer in Schwung's Remote UI offers faders, pans, effects and the session grid, and the whole performance surface can be played from a MIDI controller over CC.

Monomodule by shnolk — a chip-level emulation of the Elektron Monomachine (SFX-6 / SFX-60) that runs the Monomachine's own sound engine inside an emulated DSP — ported to Schwung on Ableton Move. • Monomodule One: one Monomachine track, 15 synth machines (GND, SWAVE, SID, DPRO, FM+, VO-6), played from the keys, with the hardware's SYN / AMP / FILT / EFX / LFO pages. • Monomodule FX: the seven FX machines (THRU, REVERB, CHORUS, DYNAMIX, RINGMOD, PHASER, FLANGER) as an audio effect. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Elektron. Licensed GPLv3, as upstream.

Crest is an eight-voice hybrid polysynth module for the Ableton Move, running inside the Schwung framework. Three band-limited oscillators play sine, triangle, saw or pulse waves with shape control, or original wavetables, each with detuned density stacks, virtual sync and fixed-note modes, and a cross-FM loop links all three. A mixer with ring modulation and coloured noise feeds an overdrive, a saturating multimode filter that can self-oscillate, and a per-voice distortion, while three envelopes with delay stages and repeats, four LFOs, a 20-slot modulation matrix, eight macros and two Animate performance switches drive the movement. A global effects chain runs distortion followed by chorus, delay and reverb in selectable order or in parallel, and an arpeggiator with rhythm patterns, latch and scale lock follows the Move's tempo. Crest plays in poly, mono and unison modes with glide, per-voice divergence and analog-style drift, responds to polyphonic aftertouch and common controllers, and can convert Novation Peak SysEx patch banks the user already owns. On the Move, a home page draws the patch name, filter response and amp envelope and held knobs show value cards; Schwung's browser-based Remote UI lays every parameter out on one panel, and the same engine also runs as a synth in a web browser.

Amino is an 8-bit wavetable synthesizer module for the Ableton Move, running inside the Schwung framework. Each sound stacks up to four layers, and each layer has two stepped 8-bit wavetable oscillators with phase, amplitude and sync cross-modulation, a noise and ring-modulation dirt source, drive before or after a saturating multimode filter, four envelopes, two LFOs and an eight-slot modulation matrix. A Vintage mode plays the raw stepped samples with their aliasing, while Clean mode uses band-limited copies for smoother sounds, and two stereo effect slots in series or parallel offer chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, drive, compression, EQ, delay, reverb, shimmer and a trance gate. Layers can be stacked, alternated, chosen at random, split across the keyboard or assigned to separate MIDI channels, with poly, mono and legato play, scale lock and one-key chords. The synth responds to velocity, the Move's polyphonic pad pressure, MPE and common controllers, and comes with a large categorized factory preset bank. Every parameter sits on eight-knob pages on the Move, while Schwung's browser-based Remote UI adds draggable wavetable views, filter and envelope editors, modulation routing by drag and drop and a preset browser; the same engine also runs as a playable synth in a web browser.

Norns on Ableton Move runs the monome norns sound computer software as a module on the Ableton Move, through the Schwung framework. Norns runs in a Debian environment alongside the Move's own software, with audio, MIDI, the screen and the controls bridged between the two, so most norns scripts can be played on the Move, including ones that use audio input or custom SuperCollider engines. The first three knobs act as the norns encoders and three track-mute buttons as its keys. The pads work either as a chromatic MIDI keyboard or as an emulated 16-by-8 monome grid, shown one colour-coded quadrant at a time and paged with the D-pad. Because the Move has a one-bit display, threshold and dithering modes convert norns' grayscale graphics to suit each script. Setup needs Schwung, Cycling '74's RNBO Takeover for the Move (which provides the audio server), and a one-time chroot installation over SSH; external USB MIDI devices and a physical grid are not supported.

M8 LPP Emulator is a module for the Ableton Move, running inside the Schwung framework, that makes the Move act as a Launchpad Pro controller for the Dirtywave M8. With the M8 connected to the Move's USB-A port, or the M8 iPad app on its USB-C port, the M8's session, note, sequencer and beat-repeat screens appear on the Move's pads with their colours, blinking and pulsing, half of the eight-by-eight grid at a time. Beyond the Launchpad layout, the Move's knobs become named, CC-mapped controls picked from a catalogue of M8 mixer, send-effect, instrument and EQ parameters, shown in the M8's own units, with shared pictures for filter curves, envelopes and LFOs. Knob pages are grouped into songs, switched from step buttons the M8 leaves free and also editable from a browser through Schwung's web manager, and the pad screen is remembered when the module is reopened. The module talks to the M8 on MIDI channels 1 to 3, so Move tracks and slots should use higher channels.

Mono is a six-track digital synthesizer and sequencer for the Ableton Move, built as a module for the Schwung community framework, which must be installed on the Move. Its machines include detuned saw, pulse and chord-ensemble oscillators, a SID-style chip oscillator, a 12-bit wavetable oscillator that can also play user waves imported from audio files, and a two-operator FM oscillator. Every track adds an envelope, a resonant dual-cutoff filter, distortion, EQ, sample-rate reduction, a filtered stereo delay, portamento and three LFOs that can reach any sound parameter. A track can also mix, ring-modulate or frequency-modulate its oscillator from the track before it, then add its own chorus, flanger, reverb, compression or crushing. Mono Voice places one machine voice in a normal Move track played from the Move's own pads and sequencer. The full-surface Mono takes over the hardware with an internal 64-step sequencer that has per-step parameter locks, independent track lengths and clock divisions, probability, retrigs, conditional trigs, slides, microtiming, ties and accents, along with an arpeggiator and song rows that chain pattern sections with transposition. Knob moves can be recorded live as locks, every parameter answers MIDI CC with the channel choosing the track, and sounds and patterns save as presets. Schwung's Remote UI opens a full browser editor with step editing, a patch randomizer and morphing snapshots.

A friendly, Elektron-style knob UI and 16-track step sequencer for Ableton Move, built on the Schwung framework. Movy turns Move into a hands-on instrument for Schwung modules: every module's parameters land on the 8 knobs as clean, readable pages, and a 16-track sequencer — modelled closely on Move's own — sits underneath, driven by a small Rust engine. All sixteen tracks are chains Movy hosts itself.

Taktile is a pattern-based groove box built for jamming live. It takes over the Move's pads, buttons, knobs and display. All sound comes from its own C DSP (dsp.so), so you get a complete instrument rather than a controller for something else.

Bizar is a two-engine hybrid synthesizer module for the Ableton Move, running inside the Schwung framework. Its first oscillator chooses from engines including basic waves, two-operator FM, wavefolding, noise, wavetables, supersaw, harmonic, formant, virtual analog, waveshaping, chords, Karplus-Strong, modal and speech synthesis, while the second oscillator offers the same generators or processes the first through ring modulation, folding, filtering, bit crushing, comb and phaser filters, distortion or FM. A resonant low-, band- and high-pass filter with audio-rate filter FM, a looping cycling envelope, two LFOs, a twelve-column modulation matrix and four macros shape each of six voices, followed by three effect slots with delay, reverb, chorus, phaser, flanger, super unison, drive, crushing, EQ and compression. Bizar also has a tempo-synced step sequencer with automation lanes and an arpeggiator, plus mono, unison and one-key chord modes, and responds to velocity, polyphonic aftertouch, the mod wheel and the sustain pedal. Factory presets share the same timbre and space macros, so the whole bank plays the same way from the Move's knobs. Schwung's browser-based Remote UI adds full parameter access, envelope and LFO curve editing, the sequencer editor, a patch browser that includes saved user patches, A/B compare and share links, and the same engine also runs as a synth in a web browser.

Work is an effects and sampling module for the Ableton Move, built for the Schwung community framework, which must be installed on the Move. Each track chains a source stage and two insert effects in series, and every stage holds one machine. The effects cover low-pass, multimode, comb and wavefolding filters, a filterbank, decimation and distortion, chorus, a barber-pole flanger, a phase array, a compressor, a single-sideband frequency shifter, a stepping granular pitch shifter, delays, tape flutter and three distinct reverb algorithms. Source machines play, slice, scan or granulate a sample recorded from the input or loaded from the Move's own WAV files, and LFOs and a modulation envelope can move their parameters. Work drops into a Signal Chain or Master FX slot, and Work In runs the same machines on the Move's live input. Overwork takes over the whole surface with eight tracks and a 64-step sequencer: hold a step and turn a knob to lock a parameter to that step. It adds micro-timing, retrigs, per-step probability, pattern banks, song chaining, undo and live recording of knob moves, while the pads become a machine palette. A separate Overwork Mix entry processes and samples what the Move itself is playing instead of the input jack. Presets, MIDI CC and NRPN control, and a browser editor for Overwork and Work In reachable from any device on the network are included.

Smack is a loop glitcher for the Ableton Move, built as a module for the Schwung community framework, which must be installed on the Move. It grabs a tempo-synced loop of live audio, either retroactively from what was just played or by arming a recording, cuts it into slices on a grid, and lets a seeded random pattern assign effects and a new play order to the slices. Patterns repeat exactly on every pass until re-rolled, and a seed control browses them by number. The effects include retriggers, reverse, varispeed and time-preserving pitch shifts, half and double speed, gating, bitcrushing, tape stops and starts, vinyl scratches, filter and vowel sweeps, granular freeze and scatter, synced delays, distortion, phaser, gated reverb bursts, ring modulation and a tuned comb. Three builds share one engine. An audio effect for Signal Chain and Master FX slots can glitch the whole Move mix. A standalone instrument loops the Move's microphone, line or USB-C input. Oversmack takes over the full surface: the steps show the pattern, and three pad rows act as an effect palette for pinning effects to individual slices. An A/B punch switches between the clean loop and the pattern on slice or loop boundaries, a dual-mono mode treats the left and right inputs as two independent lanes, and loops follow the Move's transport when its MIDI clock is sent out. Presets, MIDI CC control, on-device help and screen-reader announcements are included.

schwung-organelle brings compatible Organelle Pure Data patches to Ableton Move as a sound-generator module. It maps the patches' main controls to Move's knobs, jog control and touch gestures, with notes arriving through MIDI and the patch's display shown on Move's screen. Patches are organized as folders containing a main Pure Data file, with a starter collection providing material to explore. Additional patches can be transferred to the device, making it possible to build a personal library of synths and sound-processing ideas. The module combines a patch-based software environment with Move's portable controls and performance workflow.

Schwung-Eloquence replaces the speech voice of the Schwung screen reader on the Ableton Move with the Eloquence speech synthesizer. Installed over SSH, it swaps Schwung's Flite engine for a small proxy library that speaks through an open-source C port of Eloquence, so choosing Flite in the screen reader settings produces Eloquence speech, while the eSpeak option and Schwung itself are left unchanged. A settings file selects one of eight preset voices and adjusts speaking rate, pitch, inflection and natural phrase pauses. A rule file of regular expressions corrects common mispronunciations, and optional community pronunciation dictionaries can be added. The installer sets up a boot target that puts Eloquence back after Schwung updates, and an uninstall command restores the original engine.

Stacks is a chord-progression tool for the Ableton Move, running in the Schwung framework. A progression is built from a library of chord shapes, rhythm figures and voicing colours, or started from built-in progressions filed by genre, and plays on whichever Move track is selected. The Move's screen shows it as a staff with the rhythm as played hits, the chord names along the foot and a keyboard that lights the notes as they sound. Sixteen pattern slots each hold their own progression and clip length. Arming a stamp lets the Move record one pass of the progression into a clip on its own downbeat, and an existing clip can be read back in from a track. Performance controls transpose the clip or shift its octave without rewriting the progression, while changing the key rewrites it. The same session can be edited on the Move and in a panel in Schwung's browser tool tab, both showing the same selection, playhead and transport, and everything is saved automatically between sessions.
DJ Deck turns the Ableton Move into a two-deck, CDJ-style DJ player, running as a tool in the Schwung framework. Each deck plays WAV, MP3, AAC and FLAC files, or MOD, XM, IT and S3M tracker modules split into channel stems, with time-stretching and separate pitch shifting, a vinyl-style speed control, automatic BPM detection and sync, a crossfader, DJ filters and per-stem volume and mutes. The Move's display shows both decks side by side and can be rotated for a battle-style layout, with a flashing border when a track nears its end. The pads are split between the two decks for hot cues, momentary hot loops and rolls, stutter at beat divisions, loop sizes and a cue editor with a zoomable waveform, while slip mode keeps the track position running underneath loops and stutters. Knob pages cover the mix, filters and stems. It is designed for use with a physical DJ mixer between several Moves, and it supports the Schwung screen reader.

RNBO for Schwung runs patches made with Cycling '74's RNBO on the Ableton Move through the Schwung framework, in two ways. As a takeover tool, RNBO Runner starts the RNBO runner stack inside Schwung, giving RNBO patchers the Move's pads, knobs, display and LEDs, mixing their audio into the Move's output and serving the runner's browser panel for graph and preset management. As signal-chain modules, it loads exported RNBO packs as synths or audio effects alongside other Schwung modules. A pack copied into the synth or effect folder on the Move is unpacked at startup, its connected patchers are wired together and processed in order, the pads play synth graphs and the pack's parameter views map to the Move's knobs. Packs are created in Max with RNBO by targeting the Move runner, and the takeover mode needs Cycling '74's RNBO runner installed on the Move plus a companion JACK driver.

Piano Practice is a sight-reading and keyboard trainer for the Ableton Move, running as a tool in the Schwung framework. Notes scroll across a treble staff on the Move's screen toward a hit line, and playing the matching pad in time scores each note like a rhythm game, with a second mark showing how early or late the press landed. Chords are judged note by note, and past a short grace period the scroll waits at a missed note until it is played. Lessons cover note reading, intervals, scales in all of the Move's scales, chord qualities and progressions, by sight or by ear, along with songs arranged for both hands that are learned in levels from one hand alone to both together. Each exercise runs first in a guided mode that lights the pads, then from the staff alone, and the module tracks scores and progress along a five-stage learning path written for beginners. It has its own built-in piano sound, so no Move track or MIDI setup is needed, with optional MIDI output, and the same practice also runs in a web browser.
