Move Anything is a framework for running custom code on the Ableton Move alongside its regular software. Scripts written in modern JavaScript, on top of a reusable C core, can use the pads with velocity and polyphonic aftertouch, the nine endless encoders with relative or absolute values, capacitive touch, every button and its colours, the 128 by 64 pixel display, audio from the line and microphone inputs, audio out, and USB MIDI devices on the USB-A port, including several at once through a hub. A key combination launches it from the Move's own software and returns there when finished.
It includes a Launchpad Pro emulation for the Dirtywave M8, which shows the M8's session, note, sequencer and beat-repeat modes on the Move's pads, uses the Move as a USB host that also charges the M8, and maps all nine knobs and pad aftertouch to MIDI CCs the M8 can learn. An optional add-on gives the Move unlimited pages of sets. Installation runs a script over SSH and needs to be repeated after Move software updates.
An unofficial framework for running custom instruments, effects, and controllers on Ableton Move.
Schwung adds a Shadow UI that runs alongside stock Move, enabling additional Synths, FX, and other tools to run in parallel to the usual UI.

Transform Ableton's Move into a fully customized instrument with RNBO Export. Experimental Alpha is now available.
Build a Complete System:
Use the RNBO web editor to connect multiple RNBO exports into a full, modular system that runs on the Move. Create sequencers, synths, and effects that can all be connected together and mapped to the device. Changes to the graph in the web editor are immediately active on Move.
A Playable Platform for RNBO:
RNBO Move Takeover gives you an unprecedented opportunity to fully engage with the device and all it has to offer. Complete with Audio I/O (stereo), RGB LEDs, MIDI support, 8 rotary encoders, and 32 pressure and velocity sensitive pads, the Move is both a capable and portable device that will play well with other musical gear.
A standalone 8-track MIDI sequencer and live environment for Ableton Move.
dAVEBOx turns a Move into a session machine: eight tracks of clips on the pads, each track playing either one of Move's own instruments or a hosted synth (OB-Xd, Dexed, and the rest of the Schwung module ecosystem), with per-clip note effects, conditions and automation, a conductor track for harmonic movement, retrospective capture, and a full browser editor on the same WiFi.
It runs as its own session on the device. The official firmware and the official Schwung install are never modified — launching dAVEBOx relaunches Move under this repo's host build, leaving stock untouched on disk, and a reboot (even a power cut) always returns the device to stock exactly as it was. Your Move sets are never touched either: dAVEBOx keeps its own project workspace and swaps it in only while a session runs.
On-device web server for set restore, preset editing and kit generation. This project provides a companion webserver that runs alongside the official Move server, accessible at move.local:909!
