rytm-mods-src is the public source release of MrScruff’s firmware modifications for the Elektron Analog Rytm MKII on OS 1.73, redistributed with permission. The current canonical repository is Iced-Cream/rytm-mods-src. Documented modifications include Euclidean accents, a compressor gain-reduction estimate, filter-frequency display in Hz, switching between the edited and saved kit, a SLICE LOOP command, per-sound filtering on the main DAC route, CTRL ALL across sound tracks, and expanded envelope-reset behavior. Other available components add random velocity, per-sound random modifiers and an RMS indicator. The README explicitly marks the first group of features hardware-verified, while several additional default-build components remain marked built only. Device testing therefore applies to specific modifications, not every combination in the default image. Build from the exact official MKII OS 1.73 file using the project’s checksum and layout checks, and follow its manual and flashing notes. This is an as-is source release with limited support, not a packaged official update. MKI compatibility is a separate port and must not be inferred from these MKII results. Keep the original OS and project backups.
