AM Mod expands the Akai MPC Sample with a pad-based step sequencer, event editing, per-pad EQ, resampling and batch sample tools. It also adds clearer parameter displays, pad-based name entry, scale lighting, folder search and project-management shortcuts. The mod starts from an SD card and runs a patched copy of the stock application in RAM; Project → Mod Off returns to the stock application. Installation uses the SD-card installer or an autorun folder copied to the card. Save work to External storage, because Internal storage is temporary while the mod is running. AM Mod supports MPC Sample firmware 1.3.0.12 only and requires an exFAT card with a supported volume name containing no spaces.
