Sound design in Eurorack rarely feels this open-ended yet this controlled. Dionisi takes the precision of a modern digital engine and wraps it in an immediately playable, analog-style interface that invites both meticulous patching and wild experimentation.
At its core, Dionisi is a six‑voice digital oscillator and mixer module, with each VCO spanning up to 12 octaves from slow LFO rates into full audio, and offering four classic waveforms per oscillator for everything from glassy FM tones to thick subtractive stacks. Each oscillator has its own dedicated output alongside two configurable mixer outputs, letting you treat Dionisi as a polyphonic synth voice, a bank of complex LFOs, a dense drone source, or a flexible modulation hub. Through‑zero linear and exponential FM, plus amplitude and phase modulation, are all on tap, with a powerful four‑quadrant modulation matrix that allows any input or oscillator to modulate virtually any destination, including per‑oscillator quantizers with multiple scales for tuned, harmonic results.
Eight assignable CV inputs with bias and attenuation, six digital trigger inputs, a 1V/oct pitch input, and MIDI over 3.5 mm TRS (with MIDI learn) give Dionisi deep integration into both modular and MIDI-based setups. An OLED display with three encoders and six buttons provides fast access to parameters, user configuration, and two banks of 64 user presets plus factory patches, so you can move from exploratory patches to recallable performance setups without losing your sweet spots. All of this lives in a compact 28HP, 35 mm deep Eurorack module that delivers “21st‑century FM” and beyond, with the stability, tuning accuracy, and tracking consistency that only a carefully designed digital oscillator bank can provide.
