JT-4000M MICRO 4-Voice Hybrid Synthesizer

MicroHybridPolyphonic

Imagine squeezing the fat, iconic sound of a 1990s Roland JP-8000 into something that fits in your pocket— that's the magic behind this tiny powerhouse, complete with that legendary Supersaw waveform for instant trance leads and lush pads.

Each of its four paraphonic voices packs two analog-modeling oscillators with multiple waveshapes like PWM saw, FM, and noise, plus a 2-operator FM engine for extra bite. Shape them through a real analog 12dB/oct low-pass filter, dual ADSR envelopes for amp and filter, and two LFOs targeting osc tuning or filter cutoff. Play via 16 capacitive touch-sensitive keys, tweak on the fly with six function buttons and OLED display, or connect any MIDI gear through the new 3.5mm TRS input (DIN adapter included) and USB-C for power and control. Stereo line out and a Line In port keep it versatile, all in a super-compact 1.42" x 5.12" x 3.66" USB-bus-powered body with 32 presets and a multimode arpeggiator.

Folks digging affordable micros love its solid JP-8k vibes and surprising depth at this size and price, though some wish for a headphone jack and note the paraphonic sharing of envelopes keeps things classic rather than fully independent.
