Every note feels a little more alive when it’s wrapped in wood. The Mahogany Overdrive is built to make your guitar bloom with rich, musical gain while looking and feeling like a piece of boutique luthiery under your foot.
Developed by CCTV in collaboration with Victoria luthier Trevor Woodland, this analog overdrive takes inspiration from mythical k-style circuits, reimagining that classic recipe as a darker, smoother, moodier voice. It can nudge a clean amp with a touch of fatness and depth or push into searing overdrive with harmonics to spare, all while remaining remarkably transparent and responsive to your playing.
Inside the beautifully CNC-carved mahogany enclosure, high quality film capacitors, FET-input op-amps, and a charge pump elevate the circuit to run at +18V / -9V, giving you added headroom and dynamic feel. Buffered bypass keeps your signal conditioned even when the pedal is off, and standard Boss-style 9V power or a 9V battery means it drops easily into any pedalboard. The Mahogany Overdrive is the result of over two years of experimentation in stompable wooden enclosures, built with fins and ribs to maximize strength so it looks heirloom-grade but performs like a touring workhorse.
