CrossPad S3

A pocket-sized sampler built for spontaneous beat making, the CrossPad S3 combines hands-on control with an open-source, hackable design. Its 16 velocity-sensitive pads provide expressive performance, while a 2.4-inch touchscreen and rotary encoder offer a compact interface for shaping sounds and navigating the device.

Designed around an ESP32-S3 processor, the digital, sample-based instrument includes an SD card slot, built-in stereo speakers, and two MEMS microphones for capturing audio. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, and 3.5 mm MIDI connections support flexible integration, while the internal 2000 mAh battery provides up to four hours of playtime. A motion sensor and vibration motor add tactile interaction to this experimental desktop sampler, which weighs just 207.5 g.
