S-8000

Turn WAV files into playable instruments without keeping a computer in the setup. The S-8000 loads single samples or multisamples from microSD, then provides pitch, gain, root-key, start-point, and loop controls for building and organizing custom sounds.

A resonant filter with its own envelope, a VCA with ADSR, and a multi-waveform LFO bring subtractive shaping to the sample engine. Chorus, phaser, delay, reverb, bloom, and stereo-spread effects extend the palette, while velocity, modulation-wheel, and aftertouch modulation add performance response.

MIDI In and Thru, a color graphic display, stereo audio output, and MIDI CC control make the compact desktop unit practical for sequenced or hands-on rigs. EWM also supplies an expandable sample library organized by instrument and source equipment.
