A desktop filter that can turn simple signals into moving, animated textures, the HEX row is built for hands-on sound design and unruly stereo processing. This stereo dual analog resonant filter is offered in assembled and DIY versions.
Each side has its own gain, frequency, and resonance controls, plus a switch for lowpass or bandpass operation. The unit also adds three routing topologies: feedback, serial twin-peak or auto-filtering, and parallel, along with a sidechain and envelope follower for ducking, gating, and evolving filter motion.
For performance and patching flexibility, the HEX row includes a manual touch pad for routing audio and control voltages, plus an internal 5-pin header system for interfacing with other devices. It is a compact desktop effects unit with a deliberately experimental character, designed to move from subtle stereo filtering to aggressive self-oscillation and complex resonant textures.
