Born from the punchy low-end heart of the LepLoop V2, this analog mono bass drum module distills that classic cassa voice into a standalone powerhouse for techno grooves and beyond.
Housed in a compact desktop enclosure measuring just 120 x 75 x 55 mm, it packs a fully analog subtractive synthesis engine with a resonant filter that self-oscillates at high resonance settings. Five hands-on knobs shape your sound: Trig Mix blends the built-in tempo generator with external triggers via the 3.5mm input (accepting trig, gate, CV, or audio); Freq sets pitch while influencing resonance; Reso dials in damping or squealing oscillation; Dist adds gritty overdrive; and Tempo speeds up the internal clock. Toggle switches engage two LDR photoresistors—one for frequency, one for resonance—for light-controlled modulation, and a hidden touch screw doubles the tempo with a tap. Sync it out via Trigger Out, and monitor through the 1/4" mono jack, all powered by 12V DC center-positive.
Users love its raw, aggressive boom that's perfect for live jamming or modular integration, with the LDRs sparking creative chaos in low-light setups—though some note the pots can feel a bit loose after heavy use.
