The Wingie2 evolved from Meng Qi's original experimental Wingie, now housed in a sleek aluminum case that's as tough as it is portable at 100 x 114 x 25 mm.

Its physical modeling engine runs two parallel stereo resonators, fed by onboard mics or a 3.5mm TRS stereo input, with dual headphone outs and USB-C power. Play via the built-in dual keyboard—26 larger buttons across two octaves—or sequence it with TRS MIDI in for up to three notes per channel. Three faders handle mix (dry/wet), resonance volume, and decay from 150ms to 10 seconds, while switches and RGB LEDs select from four modes: poly (soft, up to three-note chords in white), string (plucked sequences in yellow), bar (bell-like in red), and special (tunable wildcards in other colors).

Users love its magical harmonizing on acoustics or vocals, often cranking mix to 100% for pure Wingie tones that no pedal replicates, though some note the three-note limit pushes MIDI pairing for complexity.
