Little Phatty

KeyboardAnalogMonophonic

Designed by Bob Moog himself as one of his final creations, this compact powerhouse delivers the pure, warm analog tone that defined a generation of electronic music, all in a performer-ready package that punches way above its size.

At its heart are two ultra-stable voltage-controlled oscillators with continuously variable waveforms from triangle to sawtooth, square, and pulse, plus oscillator sync for thick, aggressive leads and bass. A classic Moog 24dB/octave ladder filter shapes the sound with precise cutoff, resonance, and envelope controls, backed by dual ADSR envelopes for amplitude and filter, and a versatile LFO offering six waveforms routed to filter, pitch, or wave destinations. The 37-note synth-action keyboard spans three octaves with velocity sensitivity, pitch/mod wheels, octave transpose, and glide, while the intuitive front panel packs all knobs and switches upfront—no menus needed—plus 100 editable presets, MIDI I/O, CV inputs, and external audio processing. Measuring about 27 by 15 by 7 inches and weighing 22 pounds, it's road-tough with headphone out, master volume, and that signature Moog ladder filter growl.

Players have long praised its hands-on immediacy and tuning stability even under stage lights, earning a spot as a modern Minimoog successor for live gigs and studio work, though some note its monophonic nature keeps it focused on leads over chords.
