Every signal deserves a cinematic glow, and Planetarium 3 turns everyday sources into towering, modulated soundscapes you can play like an instrument.
Neon Egg’s Planetarium 3 is a stereo multi‑effects unit in a compact desktop pedal format, combining lush reverb and chorus into echo/delay with stereo modulation, then into a versatile compressor with an external sidechain input. Designed for hands-on control, the top panel gives you dedicated knobs and switches to sculpt ambience, flutter, modulation shapes, echo character and compression, inviting expressive real-time tweaking whether it’s parked beside a synth, on a studio desk or next to a guitar amp.
At its core, Planetarium 3 lets you move from subtle widening and gentle space to deep, swirling “tape‑y” echoes and pumping, sidechained textures, all without a computer. Stereo line inputs and outputs keep your mix-wide sources intact, while a separate 1/4" sidechain input lets drums, sequencers or any rhythmic signal drive the compressor for that classic rhythmic ducking and movement. With its stereo modulated reverb/chorus into echo, followed by the musical, sidechainable compressor, Planetarium 3 becomes a self-contained ambience machine for ambient, electronic, shoegaze and experimental players who want one focused box that does spacious, characterful effects extremely well.
