Major Tom Desktop takes NONO Modular's circular polyrhythmic sequencer out of the rack and turns it into a self-contained performance hub for modular systems, drum machines, synthesizers, and samplers. Its six-track CV/gate engine keeps the direct 16-step Major Tom workflow, then adds dedicated triplet steps so straight and tuple-based rhythms can coexist without menu diving.
The desktop unit is built for tactile control: gate width, dynamic fragmentation, CV quantization, variation switching, last-step changes, and per-track shifting all sit close to the performance surface, while a large color circular display gives immediate feedback. A microSD slot stores live sets and sequences, and the desktop enclosure gives players the Major Tom sequencing approach without needing to dedicate rack space or manage separate expanders.
