Four familiar cumbia percussion voices make a compact rhythm instrument for live playing and pattern building. Hanan Cumbia (HTR-1) by Oficina de Sonido combines sample-based kick, guiro, cowbell and conga sounds, with pitch control for cowbell and conga.
Its sequencer provides four banks of four sequences, with 32 steps per sequence. Patterns can be recorded in real time, selected with button combinations, reversed or erased. Internal memory stores presets, and a browser-based app supports sequence editing.
Clock input and output allow synchronization with other hardware, while tap tempo sets the internal clock. USB provides power connectivity and a 3.5 mm jack carries audio. The compact desktop design features graphics inspired by Latin American cumbia.
