Cumbia percussion and real-time pattern recording fit into a compact desktop drum machine. Hanan Cumbia (Mini) by Oficina de Sonido plays four sample-based sounds: kick, guiro, cowbell and conga, with pitch control for cowbell and conga.
Four sequences of 32 steps can be recorded by playing the pads, then selected, reversed or erased with button combinations. Internal memory stores presets, and a browser-based app supports sequence editing.
USB-C supplies power, clock input and output synchronize other hardware, and a 3.5 mm jack carries audio. Tap tempo provides direct control of the internal clock, while graphics by Yeffry Ruta Mare connect the design to cumbia visual culture.
