A pocket-sized groovebox that turns stylus play into a surprisingly deep sound engine. Loopstyler blends the familiar feel of a Stylophone-style instrument with a modern sampler, looper, and multitrack sequencer, making it easy to sketch ideas quickly or dive into more experimental sound design on the go.
Inside, it combines multiple synth engines including FM, Karplus-Strong, granular, and subtractive synthesis, plus sampling from microSD with support for mono and stereo material. With at least 32-voice polyphony, time-stretching, pitch-shifting, onboard effects, an internal mic, and mono audio input, it’s built for capturing, shaping, and layering sounds in a compact format.
Loopstyler also offers several ways to work: Easy Play mode for immediate performance, Tape Loop mode for looping and mangling material, a multitrack polyphonic sequencer, and an expert programming mode for deeper control. It can connect over USB as a MIDI controller and audio interface, and its stereo output is specified at 48 kHz/16-bit.
