Biotron

Turn a living plant into a playable instrument. Biotron reads bioelectric signals from plants and translates them into MIDI, so small changes in touch, light, or movement can shape the sound in real time.

Built for curious musicians, educators, and experimental setups, it connects by USB-C and sends on two MIDI channels: one for the plant sensor and one for the light sensor. It works with any DAW or music app that accepts MIDI, and the default scale is C major across 4 octaves.

Biotron is designed for immediate exploration: plug it in, attach the electrodes to a plant, and start performing with a source of sound that is never quite the same twice.
