Shape-shifting sound design belongs in your rack, not just on your laptop. The Magus takes the flexibility of modern DSP and drops it straight into Eurorack as a fully programmable, open‑source audio processor and modular playground.
At its core is a 32‑bit floating point engine running on a powerful ARM Cortex M4 with 8 MB of RAM, delivering 48 kHz, 24‑bit stereo audio with latency under 1 ms, so even complex patches feel immediate and responsive. Twenty bidirectional 12‑bit CV patch points let you freely define inputs and outputs, turning Magus into whatever your system needs: oscillator hub, custom effect, modulation brain, or complete instrument. Dual mono audio I/O, a dedicated stereo line input, and a stereo headphone/line output slot it cleanly into studio or stage setups.
Programming and performance are equally at home here. A 128×64 OLED display and 16 RGB LEDs give clear visual feedback, while USB MIDI host and device ports plus TRS MIDI in/out connect Magus to controllers, DAWs, and hardware rigs. Built on Rebel Technology’s open OWL platform, it can run a large library of existing patches and invites you to develop your own, making Magus a long‑term, expandable centrepiece for experimental, digital, and hybrid modular systems.
