Born from the collision of classic drum machines and outboard studio gear, this box doesn’t just play beats – it lives in the same acoustic space as your tracks. Every hit travels through real springs and a tube stage, so your rhythms feel like they’re coming off tape, not a grid.
Recodrum Spring by Reco-synth is a fully analog, hand‑built drum machine from São Paulo, Brazil, with seven dedicated voices: kick, snare, clap, hi‑hat, hi perc, lo perc and stick. Each voice offers its own set of controls such as tune and tone, and can be routed via individual outputs or summed to the main mixer out. The Spring + Tube revision adds a true spring reverb tank and tube saturation circuit, each with gain and tone controls, letting you move from subtle room-like depth to wild, crashing dub textures while thickening the whole mix with harmonically rich drive.
Tight MIDI in/out and clock out keep Recodrum Spring locked to the rest of your studio, old or new, while the robust through‑hole construction and wooden cabinetry embody Reco-synth’s hands-on, boutique approach. Produced in a limited run of just 15 units between December 2023 and March 2024, it’s as much a character instrument as it is a performance-focused analog drum brain.
