Juno-G

KeyboardDigitalPolyphonic

Back in 2007, this workstation brought the legendary Juno vibe into the digital age, packing the powerhouse Fantom-X sound engine into a compact, gig-ready body that echoes the classic Juno design without the vintage price tag.

Its 61 velocity-sensitive keys feel responsive under your fingers, paired with a large backlit graphic LCD for easy navigation, six sound-modify knobs, five audio mixer sliders, a pitch bend/mod lever, and that signature invisible D-Beam controller for expressive sweeps. Dive into 128-voice polyphony across 16 parts, powered by 64MB wave memory with 768 preset patches plus 256 GM2 tones, 36 rhythm sets, and 64 performances—expandable via SRX slot for even more sonic territory. Onboard multieffects shine with three systems (78 types), reverb, chorus, a 3-band mastering compressor, and input effects, while the 16 MIDI-track sequencer plus four stereo audio tracks (up to 51 minutes expanded) let you record, overdub, and mix ideas on the fly, complete with arpeggiator, chord memory, and rhythm patterns.

Players love its hands-on workflow and versatile sounds for live sets or studio sketching, though some note the shared polyphony with audio tracks can limit heavy layering. It's a trusty workhorse that still holds up for anyone chasing that Juno spirit today.
