deconstruct MINIMAL is a compact Sonicware groovebox for minimal techno and minimal house. Its sound engine combines a sample-based drum machine, an integrated sampler, and a monophonic analog-modeling bass synth in an 11-track performance instrument. The drum section provides nine tracks, 16 kits, 130 sounds across 10 banks, per-track groove edits such as accents, random velocity, swing and sub-steps, plus real-time pad recording and step input.
The sampler adds sample import/export, sampling from line input or USB, short mono sample slots on drum tracks 7-9, and a dedicated stereo loop track with time stretch, loop/one-shot playback and crossfade settings. The bass synth track uses an analog-modeling engine with saw, square, triangle and rectangle waveforms, a sine sub oscillator, a modeled acid-style 4-pole low-pass ladder filter, glide, accent and overdrive.
For performance, deconstruct MINIMAL includes an 11-track sequencer with 16 steps across four variations, 128 patterns, parameter locks, pattern chaining, mute/solo functions and transpose. It has master effects, send reverb, tape-echo-style delay, USB-C audio/MIDI, 3.5 mm MIDI/SYNC in and out, stereo line input/output, headphone output and a built-in speaker. It runs from a 9V DC adapter or six AA batteries.
