EP-133 K.O. II

MicroDigitalPolyphonic

Imagine taking the pocket-sized magic of the original PO-33 and super-sizing it into a pro-level beat machine that fits in your backpack. The EP-133 K.O. II evolved that cult favorite into something truly powerful, blending instant sampling with deep sequencing for creators who live on the move.

At its heart, it's a 64MB digital sampler with 999 slots holding up to 20 seconds of 46kHz/16-bit stereo or mono audio, captured via built-in mic, stereo line in, or hands-free key combos. Twelve pressure- and velocity-sensitive vintage-style keys let you play and record sequences live, backed by 6 stereo/12 mono voices and a high-res sequencer across 4 groups with 99-bar patterns each—mix, match, and commit ideas on the fly. Punch-in 2.0 effects (12 options, pressure-sensitive) plus 6 send FX and a master compressor join a multifunctional performance fader for real-time tweaks, all in a 32-bit float chain with 24-bit I/O. MIDI TRS, sync in/out, USB-C power (or 4x AAA batteries), stereo out, and a built-in speaker round out the portable slab measuring 240x176x16mm and weighing just 620g.

Beatmakers love how it speeds up workflow from raw samples to full tracks, praising the intuitive sequencer and effects for sparking ideas anywhere. A few note the limited mono/stereo voice count can fill up in dense layers, but most call it a game-changer for quick, quality production.
