Born from the lineage of early electronic instruments, this is a performance synth that expects you to play it like a living, breathing instrument rather than a machine. Pitch sings from a ring gliding along a pressure-sensitive fingerboard, while your other hand shapes every phrase with redesigned wooden Intensity Keys that respond progressively to your touch.
The ET-5 by Therevox is a duophonic analog instrument with two voltage-controlled oscillators feeding a redesigned 3-pole resonant low-pass filter, tube-style saturation, and an internal spring reverb for rich, cinematic tones. The extended fingerboard range, pressure sensing, and independent Intensity Keys let you independently control and blend two oscillators or even two separate synthesizers at once over MIDI, opening up expressive duophonic lines and evolving textures. A front-panel patch bay, CV/Gate connectivity, and a dedicated FX loop with onboard pedal power integrate it comfortably into modular, studio, or live rigs, while both USB and 5-pin DIN MIDI outs make it a powerful controller as well as a self-contained sound source.
