Back in 2015, Vermona refreshed their compact analog powerhouse with six LFO waveforms, turning a simple desktop mono synth into a modulation beast for fat basses and leads that punch way above its size.
Dual analog VCOs drive the core: VCO1 dishes out square, sawtooth, and triangle waves across 32', 16', and 8' octaves, while VCO2 adds square and sawtooth in 16', 8', and 4' ranges plus white noise, with detune up to +/-7 semitones and a handy mix knob showing exact balance. A 24dB/octave lowpass filter brings creamy resonance playable over 2.5 octaves, with keytracking at 0%, 50%, or 100%, bi-polar EG and LFO mod, and velocity sensitivity. ADSR envelope shapes both filter and VCA (switchable to GATE or always-ON for drones), while the LFO spans saw up/down, square, triangle, sine, and sample & hold from 0.05Hz to 250Hz, with intensity controls for pitch FM madness on both oscillators. Glide with auto-legato, MIDI for note, velocity, aftertouch (filter), mod wheel (PWM), and pitchbend, all in a rock-solid, intuitive panel that's portable yet expandable via optional Modular Dock for CV.
Players love its warm, Moog-ish tone for thick subs, velvety sweeps, and noisy textures—superb for beginners or pros chasing character without fuss—though some wish for osc sync or built-in ext audio as standard.
