KeyboardHybridDuophonic

Back in the early 2010s, Waldorf dreamed up a clever way to bridge desktop Eurorack rigs with stage-ready performance, creating a keyboard that doubles as a powered case for your modules.

This digital monophonic controller packs a Fatar TP9 37-key full-size keybed with velocity and aftertouch sensitivity, pitchbend and mod wheels, glide control, octave up/down switch, and selectable note priorities for precise play. It offers a rock-solid 16-bit CV interface with 9 CV outputs including pitch, velocity, aftertouch, pitchbend, modwheel, and three assignable MIDI controllers, plus three triggers for gate, clock, and reset—complete with duophonic mode, arpeggiator, and clock generator with tap tempo. The angled panel holds up to 107HP of modules (max depth 65mm for most, 25mm on the right), powered by a built-in regulated supply at +12V/-12V 1.5A each, with stereo audio inputs/outputs, headphone amp, USB/MIDI I/O, sustain pedal input, and a sturdy 656x334x122mm frame weighing 8.5kg for reliable transport.

Players have long praised its premium build and flexible CV precision for both studio patching and live sets, though its heft means it's best for those who prioritize stability over ultra-light travel.
