A compact wavetable voice with a surprisingly broad sonic range, the Gamma Wave Source is built for dense chords, animated timbres, and modular-friendly control. It is an eight-voice polyphonic digital wavetable synthesizer in Eurorack format, currently listed as a prototype.
Its core sound engine centers on high-quality interpolated wavetables, with support for popular wavetable formats including Pigments/Serum-style 2048-sample files and Synthesis Technology 256-sample files. The module also includes multiple voicing modes, three envelopes per voice, a morphable-output filter with lowpass, highpass, and resonant behavior, and a sub-oscillator per voice.
On the front end, Gamma Wave Source can be driven by MIDI or Eurorack control, including 1V/oct pitch and gate/CV inputs, and it offers clock input as well. Its onboard processing adds three-band EQ, overdrive, and channel effects such as echo/dub delay, chorus, and ducking, making it more than just a source for raw wavetable tones.
