Pro Micro Music Workstation

MicroDigitalPolyphonic

The Woovebox Pro proves that you don't need a studio full of gear to make complete, professional-sounding music—it's a fully realized production environment that weighs less than a smartphone and fits in your pocket.

This 16-part multitimbral synthesizer packs 17 oscillator algorithms ranging from classic virtual analog and FM to 808/909 percussion models, ring modulation, and hard sync, each with its own multimode filter and dual envelope generators. The sequencer gives you 16 songs with 16 tracks, 16 patterns, and 16 steps per pattern, supporting polyrhythmic arrangements and generative sequencing with per-step probability triggers and conditional modifiers. Sound design goes deep with per-voice distortion, saturation, and bitcrushing, plus a global effects chain featuring reverb, stereo chorus/phaser, and dual delay units that can even be repurposed as oscillators for experimental feedback effects. The sampling engine captures over two minutes of audio at 44.1kHz with chromatic playback, pitch shifting, time stretching, and vocoding capabilities.

The Pro model ships with a 1200mAh battery delivering 10.5 hours of continuous playback, a sturdy injection-molded ABS enclosure with laser marking, and a thoughtful accessory kit including a breakout cable for sync out, stereo-to-mono splitter, MIDI adapter, and condenser microphone for vocoding. The 16 tactile buttons and clickable encoder handle navigation without menu diving, while a hall sensor enables touchless note accenting and real-time filter modulation during performance. Connectivity includes 3.5mm MIDI in/out, stereo audio in/out for sampling and external gear processing, and wireless MIDI over Bluetooth LE. The Wooveconnect 2 web interface handles song and sample transfers, WAV/MIDI export, and firmware updates.

Since its release, the Woovebox has earned respect from producers and live performers for its genuine workflow efficiency and sound quality that belies its size. The community particularly appreciates the synthesis depth and the ability to use it as a standalone workstation or as a 16-part expander module controlled by external keyboards or DAWs.
