AtomoSynth

atomosynth.net
Lima, Peru

AtomoSynth was founded in 2007 by Alfredo Aliaga, who discovered synthesizers in the 1990s through artists like Vangelis, Enigma, Kraftwerk, and Plastikman while studying engineering. Unable to afford one, he built his own, leading to the company's creation. The first product, initially called Medussa and later renamed Mochika, featured a simple oscillator with an 8-step sequencer in a fluorescent green enclosure and became a flagship alongside others like the Krakken mini keyboard, Abyssal Photosynth, Koe synth module, Tottem drum synth module, and Asterion modular. The company has contributed to the analog synthesizer revival with innovative designs resonating globally.
