Creamware

Germany

Creamware Audio GmbH, founded in 1992, emerged as a prominent German manufacturer of DSP-based sound cards and synthesizers. The company developed the innovative SCOPE Fusion Platform, a scalable open processing environment powered by Analog Devices SHARC DSP chips, which integrated audio recording, processing, synthesis, and mixing with minimal latency. Flagship products included diverse Scope hardware like the A16 audio interface, Z-Link expansions, and software modules such as advanced mixers, oscillators, and effects, alongside ASB tabletop synthesizers like the Minimax. Creamware faced insolvency in 2006, after which its assets were acquired by Sonic Core, ensuring continued support for the Scope platform.
