Gotharman began experimenting with electronic circuits in 1994 while following an electronic engineer course, building the first synthesizer, Gothar1, in 1996. The company was formally established in 2009 following the design of the deMOON synthesizer. All Gotharman products are hand crafted in Denmark using only the highest quality parts. The company's mission is to create high-quality electronic instruments capable of producing a wide range of sounds with the best possible sound quality. Gotharman instruments are programmed directly by the processor in assembly language rather than conventional operating systems, achieving up to 30 times greater efficiency than typical C++ programming. The product line includes synthesizers such as the Little deFormer series, Tiny LD granular workstation, Urano modular synthesizer, and Spazedrum analog drum synthesizer.
