0700-AAM (KickEm-Tools) is a community-maintained version of the application software for the Behringer KICK, the touchscreen sampler and music production center: the program that runs its touchscreen interface, pad sampler, sequencer, looper and audio engine. It builds on macOS, Linux desktops and the KICK's own Linux arm64 platform, where it produces the binary the unit runs. Its changes cover front-panel functions such as the Timing Correct window and switch, tap tempo, recording and overdubbing pad hits into the selected track, metronome mode, level and accent click, the full and half level, 16 levels, note repeat, latch and erase pad modifiers, Q-Link knob routing, pad mixer level and pan steps, and setting the clock, together with fixes to sequence playback and switching, sample loading and the serial link to the control surface. Opt-in hooks that stay inactive on the unit let the app run and be tested on a computer without the hardware.
