DigiSplash is a set of boot-splash mods for the first-generation Elektron Digitakt, with ports for the first-generation Digitone and Digitone Keys. The mods replace the boot animation with animated splash screens, such as a wordmark over rising particles or a trash can circled by flies, or make the unit boot on the alternate stock animation that normally never appears. A generator turns any PNG or animated GIF into a ready-to-build splash mod for the 128x64 monochrome screen, as a single frame or a multi-frame animation. The mods change only the main OS section, are installed with a community mod loader and its core mod on top of the owner's own stock OS file, and combine with other non-conflicting mods; one drawn splash can be installed at a time, alongside the alternate-animation mod.

Slice information is retained with the sample so it can be reused across projects. It brings oscillator and chord machines, modular-inspired sound engines, a monosynth and polyphonic voice arrangements into the instrument's track-based workflow. Additional modules expand modulation routing and master processing. Scope, spectrum, tuner and other visual tools help inspect sounds, while EQ and cross-track control provide more options for shaping a mix. The modules can be selected and assembled into a compatible custom build using the owner's system file. The collection supports tailoring the instrument around different sound-design, performance and monitoring needs.

digineighbor adds track-to-track audio processing to the original Elektron Digitakt. A receiving track takes another track's sound through its own overdrive, filter, amp envelope, panning and effect sends, allowing longer processing chains and layered effects within the instrument. Source selection, input level, output gain and pitch shifting provide control over the routed sound. These parameters can be saved, parameter-locked and modulated as part of a pattern. The receiving track's triggers and envelope determine when audio passes through the chain. By treating one track as a processing stage for another, digineighbor opens up more involved sound-design and performance routing.

digihealth adds performance and diagnostic tools to the original Elektron Digitakt. Its audio optimization moves frequently used rendering code into faster internal memory, reducing memory stalls while preserving the underlying audio calculations. A system-information display brings processing load, RAM use and free sample memory onto the instrument's top bar. Read-only diagnostics can also send measurements to a computer, helping users inspect rendering time and the state of the optimization. Controls are integrated into the settings menu, and integrity checks provide a fallback to the original audio code. The tools are aimed at understanding the instrument's workload and making better use of its processing headroom.

DigiCandy adds full-screen graphics and animation overlays to the original Elektron Digitakt, Digitone and Digitone Keys. A panel shortcut brings an image over the display while the instrument continues running underneath. Overlays can be still images or frame-based animations, with controls for stepping through frames or playing them while a modifier is held. Ready-made artwork provides starting points, and conversion tools turn PNGs, GIFs or folders of frames into custom overlays. The graphics are packaged as modules for use with a compatible system build. DigiCandy gives the instruments a visual customization layer for personal artwork, animated motifs and performance displays.

DigiFilter expands the original Elektron Digitakt's track filters with band-pass, feedback-comb and analogue-inspired low-pass models. The new modes use the existing cutoff, resonance and envelope controls, allowing them to fit naturally into sound editing, modulation and parameter-lock sequencing. Mode-specific response curves and display symbols show how each filter shapes the sound. Additional harmonics and damping controls extend the comb-based effects, while the original filter modes remain available. DigiFilter adds options for focused frequency shaping, resonant colour and more abrasive textures within the instrument's normal signal path.

DT-FM adds a dedicated FM synthesis machine to the original Elektron Digitakt. Operator routing, tuning, frequency ratios, levels, envelopes and feedback provide control over sounds ranging from clear tones to more metallic textures. The generated voice runs through the instrument's normal amp, filter, mixer and effects path. Source parameters support parameter locks, allowing a pattern to animate the sound or address different operators on individual steps. Operator settings are stored with patterns, keeping synthesis and sequencing closely connected. DT-FM brings an editable synthesis voice into the Digitakt's track-based workflow alongside its sample machines.

digistring adds physically modelled string sounds to the original Elektron Digitakt. Plucked, bowed, struck and noise-based excitations feed a resonating string model, with controls for stiffness, pluck position, softness, damping and decay. The result spans string-like tones, ringing percussion and bell-like sounds. The voice uses the instrument's normal amp, filter, mixer and effects chain. Its parameters can be saved, parameter-locked and controlled over MIDI, making the model part of the existing pattern workflow. A companion site provides an audio demonstration, while the project supplies the module and build resources for a compatible custom setup.

Digisophie adds Sophie, a metallic percussion synthesis machine, to the original Elektron Digitakt (MK1) running OS 1.53. Adapted from Sophie for Schwung, it offers four models: FUSE, BOOM, PIPE and SHARD. Pitch, wavefolding, pitch sweep, metallic intensity, feedback and inharmonic character can be parameter-locked, while the machine uses Digitakt’s existing amplitude, filter, mixer and effects path. The mod installs through elekloader using your own stock OS file, with Elektron Transfer handling the firmware upload. One instance runs without FAST AUDIO; the developer’s earlier hardware test found two instances practical with that option enabled. Eight-track operation is not claimed. The Sophie adaptation is MIT licensed; the optional diagnostic has a separate GPL license.
