PZD Daisy Pod Groovebox is alternate firmware for the Electrosmith Daisy Pod that turns it into a multitimbral groovebox: a four-layer stereo looper plus several synth and sampler engines, all playable at once over MIDI. The looper's layers share one tempo-locked length and offer overdub, undo, a per-layer filter, character effects and reverb send, plus project-wide varispeed with scrub and freeze. Alongside it run two six-operator FM engines that can layer or split the keyboard and load DX7-format SysEx banks, a granular instrument that samples live input, a loop layer or a WAV file, a string-machine style ensemble organ with drawbars and chorus, and a sampler that works either as a sliced drum-kit and breaks player or as a chromatic instrument, with import of OP-1 sample packs. A shared plate reverb, a tempo-synced stereo delay and a master filter sit on the mix, and a mixer page shows levels, a scope and processor load. Each engine has its own MIDI channel and presets, and performances, snapshots and sample libraries are stored on a microSD card, with the full mix exportable as a WAV file. It needs an added 128×64 I2C OLED for its menus, which are driven by the Pod's two knobs, two buttons and clickable encoder.
