Modded Cycles is a collection of unofficial firmware modifications by 18nelli18 for the Elektron Model:Cycles, based on stock OS 1.13. Its browser-based flasher lets you choose modifications and build them locally from your own official firmware file. Options include six-channel USB audio for separate track stems, latching mute, trig preview, scrolling sound names and an arpeggiator. Additional options integrate the Model-TG sampler and selected Syntakt engines; the Syntakt engines require your own compatible Syntakt OS file. A separate crossflash option runs the Model:Samples OS on Model:Cycles and requires both official OS files. The project distributes tools and patches rather than Elektron firmware, and is not affiliated with Elektron. Compatibility and recovery requirements vary by modification.
