GS Music's second instrument proves that you don't need a sprawling control surface to make a synthesizer that sounds genuinely professional—this Argentine-made desktop synth packs serious analog character into a footprint smaller than a laptop, yet delivers the kind of warmth and presence that makes you forget about its compact size the moment you start playing.

The core architecture is elegantly simple: six voices of fully analog polyphony, each with a single voltage-controlled oscillator offering sawtooth and pulse waveforms plus a dedicated square-wave sub-oscillator for added depth and movement. The signal path feeds through a gorgeous four-pole Moog-style ladder filter with resonance that self-oscillates beautifully, tracked perfectly at volt-per-octave so the filter can function almost like an additional voice when pushed. Two ADSR envelope generators and a single LFO with multiple waveforms handle modulation duties, while a pair of high-quality digital effects—stereo chorus and delay—add spatial dimension without coloring the core analog character. The interface follows a one-knob-per-function philosophy that makes sound design immediate and intuitive, with an OLED screen providing visual feedback for envelope curves, filter cutoff, and effect parameters. You get 512 presets across eight banks, full MPE support for expressive controllers, and comprehensive connectivity including MIDI in/out/thru via both DIN and USB, CV/gate inputs, and balanced stereo outputs. The whole unit weighs just 1.5 kilograms and measures 360 by 126 millimeters.

Since its release, the Bree6 has earned genuine respect from the synth community for delivering professional sound quality at a price point that undercuts comparable six-voice polysynths by a significant margin. Players consistently praise its effects section—particularly the delay, which sits in that sweet spot between digital precision and analog grit, sometimes functioning more as a modulation source than a traditional effect.
