Groove OS

Alt Firmware
firmware
groovebox

Groove OS extends the M-VAVE FM-1 into an eight-track groovebox with the device's FM engine and an added virtual-analogue engine. Tracks can loop at different lengths, hold chord sequences and record knob automation. Drum kits, per-track effects, shared reverb and delay, a mixer, scenes and performance controls support complete arrangements on the instrument. Version 1.4 adds user drum sounds, with a companion website for preparing kits and managing sounds and projects. This is paid, closed-source firmware distributed through its maker's site. The Firmware Hub names it and links directly to groove-os.com rather than mirroring a package. The maker provides a browser demonstration, USB installer, manual and learning materials, with installation and restoration instructions based on M-VAVE V15.
